Black Moth Announce Indefinite Hiatus

Leeds/London based Black Moth have today announced that they’ll be going on an indefinite hiatus. The band comment,

"The time has come for the Black Moth family to hang up our wings. After delivering three albums we feel we have for now, said what we came here to say. It has been a fucking privilege to play for you and share those incredible live experiences, connecting with you in that special way. We have had the honour of supporting such legends as L7, Sleep, Sisters of Mercy, Big Business, Orange Goblin, COC and Uncle Acid not to mention touring with our dear friends Grave Lines, Limb, Wet Nuns, Turbowolf, Antlered Man and many more.

We’d like to say a big thanks to New Heavy Sounds for taking a punt on us back in 2012 and believing in us ever since.

We’ve booked a farewell show at Brudenell Social Club on Friday 6th December. Please come and celebrate with us and help us go out with a bang. London date to follow."

Black Moth released The Killing Jar (2012) and Condemned to Hope (2014) on London label New Heavy Sounds before joining Candlelight Records in 2018 for their most recent album Anatomical Venus.

Tickets for the Leeds show are on sale at this location.
