Cheap Trick Announce April 2021 UK Tour.

Cheap Trick have announced a five-date run of headline shows taking place in April 2021.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will grace these shores next spring for concerts at Bristol O2 Academy, Manchester Academy, Newcastle O2 Academy, Wolverhampton KK’s Steel Mill and London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

The Illinois band will be performing seminal tracks from their distinguished back catalogue including ‘Surrender’, ‘I Want You To Want Me’, ‘Dream Police’, and the global smash single, ‘The Flame’.

Formed in 1973, Cheap Trick have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide throughout their career, and they’ve scooped more than 40 international gold and platinum awards and industry honours.

Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen recently revealed to US radio station 95.5 KLOS that the band have completed work on their new studio album.

"We have a new record that's coming out. We are signed to BMG, and the record is finished. So we're just kind of waiting 'til all this junk subsides," Rick said in reference to the coronavirus pandemic.

Cheap Trick played Ramblin’ Man Fair and a one-off show at Glasgow O2 Academy last summer. Prior to that, they last toured the UK supporting Def Leppard in December 2018.
