Rome Announces New Two Track 7” Releases Ahead Of New Album!

‘Our Lady Of The Legion’, the brand-new single taken from Luxembourgish Neo Folk artist ROME’s latest album “Gates Of Europe”, is set for release on digital, through Trisol Music Group on August 2nd, 2023, with the album set to follow on August 25th, 2023.

‘Our Lady Of The Legion’ is the second single released ahead of ROME’s new opus “Gates Of Europe”, which is set for release on August 25th, 2023, following on from ‘Yellow And Blue’ which released on June 23rd, 2023, and it is a true European folk hymn.

The song, released as a strictly limited edition 7” on June 23rd, and digitally on August 2nd, 2023, is extremely haunting in its psychedelic tapestry of reverb and chorus, fleeting echoes, and eerie whispers that ripple throughout the track. The listener will find themselves overcome with the desire to blast it at an apocalyptically loud volume and sway along to its devastating beauty. “Where does Europa end?”, Jerome Reuter asks on this haunting track. Though the listener may demand the answer, Reuter will certainly let us in a little more on his vision on the upcoming “Gates Of Europe”.

Like its fellow release ‘Yellow And Blue’, ‘Our Lady Of The Legion’ is released as a strictly limited edition 7” vinyl and contains a truly historical recording as its B-side: a live cut from one of ROME’s now legendary war-time appearances in Ukraine. This version of ‘Das Feuerordal’ - a song which lends itself perfectly as the accompanying piece to ‘Our Lady Of The Legion’ due to its neo folk style - was recorded live in Kyiv in February 2023.
