The Razor's Edge: Please introduce yourself and your band mates.
Elimination: Hi, we are Elimination! A four piece Thrash Metal band from East Anglia.
The Razor's Edge: How would you describe your style of metal?
Elimination: Elimination is a modern Thrash band that has Bay Area influences as well as more modern thrash bands. For fans of Slayer, Kreator and Death.
The Razor's Edge: How did you land your spot on the Bloodstock bill?
Elimination: We applied online with a submission of our 2021 album ‘Echoes Of The Abyss'. We will be returning after being drafted in last minute during 2021 to play the Jager stage.
The Razor's Edge: What does playing at Bloodstock mean to you?
Elimination: Everything! We were last here at the Jäger stage in 2021, straight after lockdown(s) and we had the best time! We’ve had a lot of changes since then, we have new songs and can’t wait to blast away the Sunday morning hangovers.
The Razor's Edge: For people who’ve never seen you live, what can they expect at Bloodstock?
Elimination: For those that didn't catch us last time, you can expect crushing riffs, Lovecraftian nightmares, blistering shreds and crowd surf Sunday!
The Razor's Edge: What day are you performing?
Elimination: We will be performing early doors on Sunday morning on the New Blood Stage so get your hungover asses and thrash with us!
The Razor's Edge: What other bands are you looking forward to watching at Bloodstock this year?
Elimination: Some of the bands we are stoked to see are Megadeth, Sepultura, In Flames, Killswitch Engage, Tribe Of Ghosts, Arms To Oblivion, Tortured Demon and so many more!
The Razor's Edge: Playing the New Blood Stage is just the first steppingstone in a bands journey. What’s next in your plans for world domination?
Elimination: We’re currently working on album number four. New material is coming very very soon! Cant say too much more just yet but world domination is certainly on the cards.
The Razor's Edge: Are you camping with the fans? Which campsite are you heading for?
Elimination: We are indeed we’ll be camping in Ironwood and / or Valhalla! If you see us around, get the beers in!
The Razor's Edge: You’ve gotta keep hydrated at Bloodstock, what is your drink of choice for the weekend?
Elimination: All of them! Sunday will be a party night for sure! Some hellish mix of vodka, mead, whiskey and beer.
