Uprising Confirm More Acts for 2024
Saturday 25th May, Leicester's best indoor metal festival returns with a stacked line up, including American, Extreme Metal heavyweights BRUJERIA, the returning Alt Metal heroes BREED 77, the iconic Hardcore Punks DISCHARGE and much more announced.
With 9 months to go, UPRISING are thrilled to welcome four more additions, which are:
CELLAR DARLING, performing a UK Exclusive show at UPRISING 7. CELLAR DARLING, a heavy progressive folk trio from Switzerland bring their genre bending sublimity to UPRISING 7. Fronted by the talented Anna Murphy who is a multi instrumentalist and front woman, prepare to get lost in the ambience. You can expect to hear music from their two full length albums "This is the sound" and "The Spell" plus their latest single "Dance".
The band have said: "The UK has been welcoming us with open arms time and time again, so we are more than happy to announce UPRISING Festival 2024 as the very first CELLAR DARLING show confirmed for 2024! We can't wait to see you in Leicester in May. And who knows, perhaps we'll have some new music in tow…"

Also performing at UPRISING 7 are the emotionally charged Post-Hardcore five piece LASTELLE. They will be bringing their wall of sound to the O2 in Leicester. Mixing ambience with dual vocals and a big impact rhythm section, LASTELLE will have moments for circle pits, fist pumping and sing-a-longs.
Fresh from their performance on the main stage at Bloodstock this year, SEETHING AKIRA are heading to Uprising to bring their unique mix of rap, metalcore, nu-metal and more. Pounding breakdowns mixed with anthemic vocal-hooks and a huge guitar tone will have fans UPRISING bouncing.The band have said:

Lastly, UPRISING welcomes BATTALIONS, described as “Big dirty riffs with horrible vocals”. The Sludge / Stoner quartet will bring armageddon inducing tones across Leicester.The band have said:
"Pure Humber Sludge metal bastards BATTALIONS are honored to be invited to the bill of UPRISING 7 in 2024! I kept a close eye on proceedings this year and it looked awesome - the pics and reviews made me immediately think 'we need to get on this next year!'.
