More bands announced for Uprising 7
Uprising's seventh edition is gearing up to shake the foundations of the O2 Academy on Saturday 25 May 2024, the anticipation intensifies with the addition of three phenomenal acts to an already stellar lineup. Headlining the event is the iconic Katatonia, alongside the likes of Brujeria, Breed 77, Discharge and more. The latest additions promise to elevate the festival experience, which is already showcasing a diverse range of talent that spans the spectrum of heavy, alternative music.Leading the charge is Finland's modern quintet, MY FAVOURITE NEMESIS. Known for their electrifying performances alongside Dead By April and Suffocation, MY FAVOURITE NEMESIS has become a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene. The band recently unleashed their latest sonic masterpiece, 'Eidolon' through Seek & Strike Records. Uprising 7 attendees can expect a powerful and immersive experience as MY FAVOURITE NEMESIS brings their unique blend of energy and emotion to the Uprising stage.Hailing from Manchester, the sludge metal maestros BARBARIAN HERMIT are set to leave an indelible mark with their atmospheric soundscapes and formidable stage presence. Joining them is BLOODYARD, a North West England-based 4-piece Death Metal/Groove band, ready to unleash their intense and crushing riffs upon the eager Uprising audience.These newly announced acts join an already impressive lineup featuring Katatonia, Brujeria, Breed 77, Discharge, Cellar Darling, Ramage Inc, Forlorn, Lastelle, Sugar Horse, Seething Akira, Tribe Of Ghosts, Mage, Battalions, Bloodyard, Barbarian Hermit, My Favourite Nemesis plus much more to be announced. As well as The Night Before Uprising, including Hang The Bastard, Foul Body Autopsy, Akilla and Voidwalker.
