Dragged Into Sunlight To Perform World Exclusive Set At Damnation Festival
Dragged into Sunlight will perform Hatred For Mankind at Damnation.
The world exclusive set will close the Holy Goat Brewing Stage at BEC Arena, Manchester, on Saturday, Nov 2.
On their much-anticipated return to the stage, the band said:
"Dragged Into Sunlight has a long standing history with Damnation and we look forward to putting the floor through while closing the second arena, five years to the day of our last show.
"This is the ONLY time we will perform Hatred For Mankind in full in 2024, for its 15th anniversary.
"The real horror begins."
Damnation organiser, Gavin McInally, added:
"Damnation is tailor-made for certain moments; the return of Carcass in 2008, Bolt Thrower's only UK festival appearance in 2014, Julie Christmas and Cult of Luna's rare performance of Mariner in 2016..."
"Dragged Into Sunlight not only returning to the stage, but performing their classic Hatred For Mankind record, in full, and exclusively at Damnation is going to be one for the extreme metal history books.
"Heavier than the death of a pet, darker than a Black Mirror script and as comfortable as drowning. Witness it."
Also performing are Cradle of Filth, Bleeding Through, Nails, Russian Circles, Gatecreeper, Ne Obliviscaris, The Ruins of Beverast, Ahab, Celeste, Fuming Mouth, Inter Arma, 200 Stab Wounds, Rezn, Dool, Gillian Carter, Hexis, Enforced, Pijn, with more to be announced.
