The Razor's Edge: Please introduce yourself and your band mates.
Speak In Whispers: Hi, my name is Andreas and I’m the singer. We have Antonis and Andreas on guitars, Deniel on bass, and Stefanos on drums.
The Razor's Edge: How would you describe your sound?
Speak In Whispers: I’m not sure we fit into one specific style or sub-genre – you can find influences from progressive to groove metal on our latest album.
The Razor's Edge: How did you land your spot on the Bloodstock bill?
Speak In Whispers: We’re this year’s M2TM winners for Cyprus.
The Razor's Edge: How tough was the competition this year?
Speak In Whispers: It was a stacked line-up. All the bands were amazing, and we had a great turnout at all the dates – especially the final, which had such a great vibe.
The Razor's Edge: What does playing at Bloodstock mean to you?
Speak In Whispers: Man, it feels so surreal. I mean, to see your band among all those big names, and to be able to play our music for everyone there – it’s an honour.
The Razor's Edge: For people who’ve never seen you live, what can they expect at Bloodstock?
Speak In Whispers: Massive riffs and groovy breakdowns.
The Razor's Edge: What day are you performing?
Speak In Whispers: Sunday the 10th of August.
The Razor's Edge: What other bands are you looking forward to watching at Bloodstock this year?
Speak In Whispers: Oh man – Mastodon, Rivers of Nihil, The Black Dahlia Murder, Obituary… the list goes on.
The Razor's Edge: Playing the New Blood Stage is just the first steppingstone in a bands journey. What’s next in your plans for world domination?
Speak In Whispers: We’re already in the pre-production stage of our second album. After Bloodstock, we’re mainly focusing on that.
The Razor's Edge: Are you camping with the fans? Which campsite are you heading for?
Speak In Whispers: No, unfortunately not camping this year.
The Razor's Edge: You’ve gotta keep hydrated at Bloodstock, what is your drink of choice for the weekend?
Speak In Whispers: Beers and Red Bulls.
