Bloodstock Announce Next Wave Of Bands.
It's that time of year when it's getting cold, summer is well and truly over and we need something to brighten up are day. So here comes Bloodstock Festival to do exactly that. Having already announced a first wave of bands and then announced Devin Townsend as it's first headliner, today they give us more!
Firstly, Phil Anselmo & The Illegals will appear on the Ronnie James Dio stage on Friday to perform a very special "A Vulgar Display of Pantera" set, one that is not to be missed judging by his recent UK tour.
On Saturday, Paradise Lost fans are in for a treat, as the gothic-doom overlords will be performing their much loved fifth album ‘Draconian Times’ in full! Released in 1995, it spawned singles ‘The Last Time’ and ‘Forever Failure’.
Life of Agony will be joining us on the Ronnie James Dio main stage on Sunday. New album ‘The Sound Of Scars’, released by Napalm Records just 11 days ago, serves as a sequel to their seminal 1993 debut ‘River Runs Red’.
And finally, Diamond Head pick up a slot on Sunday’s main stage bill and will show exactly why they’re considered one of the leaders of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. Formed back in 1976, but still creating new music, their latest album ‘The Coffin Train’ dropped in May.
