Entombed Frontman LG Petrov Passes Away.
In sad news today Entombed/Entombed A.D. frontman Lars-Göran Petrov has passed away after a battle with cancer.
Back in August of 2020, during a global pandemic, he launched a GoFundMe page and announced that he was battling an incurable form of bile duct cancer.
This morning the band made public, via their facebook page, that the legendard front man has left us.
During his career Petrov was known for his brutal and aggressive death metal delivery, but has on occasion showcased a controlled clean baritone, such as on the tracks Bitter Loss from Entombed's debut album, Left Hand Path, and on Death by Impalement from the Firespawn album, The Reprobate.
His passing has left a gaping hole in the heavy metal community. RIP LG.
