Wormrot Announce Album 'TNT' From Original Line-up

In commemoration of Wormrot's original line-up reuniting to resume their genius in unleashing exquisite noise together, the band have announced a new album 'TNT'.

Recorded live from TNT Studios in their homeland Singapore, 'TNT' features 12 tracks from across the band's discography, including songs from their latest album 'HISS' and their debut album 'Abuse'. 'TNT' sees Rasyid Juraimi (guitar), Arif Rot (vocals) and Fitri Hamid (drums) rip through an exhilarating live in-studio set, capturing the grindcore concoction that the metal world became enraptured by almost two decades ago.

Since forming in 2007, the band have entrenched themselves as Asia's most exciting metal export, with outlets like Metal Injection, Bandwagon and MetalSucks pouncing to report the news of the band's reunion last year, which came prior to the line-up's homecoming show in November and a subsequent Japan tour.

In the wake of their 'HISS' campaign, which saw Rolling Stone magazine describe the album as one of the best metal releases of the year, Wormrot's legend was stamped further into grindcore history as the band played sold out shows across UK and Europe with their idols Napalm Death on the Campaign For Musical Destruction tour.

2025 will see the original line-up tour the US for the first time in 13 years on their Scums headline tour in April/May, with support coming from Washington D.C.'s No/Más (dates to be announced soon). Wormrot have also announced appearances at festivals in the US, UK and Europe across 2025, listed below.

The band comment:

"We're excited to be back to our original line-up, playing songs we wrote together more than 10 years ago. We gel better now and the good vibes are back. The upcoming tour will be our first US tour in 13 years with the original line-up, and with 'TNT' coming out to coincide with it, we're super stoked! We can't wait!"
