Bloodstock Bound: Imperial Demonic
As Bloodstock gets closer, we delve deep into the line up to find out more about some of the bands playing the New Blood and EMP stages at this years event.
Today we chat with Imperial Demonic
Please introduce yourselves.
We are Imperial Demonic from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The band is:
Andy “Heathen” – vocals
Daniel Dempster – guitars
Kacper Lewandowski – guitars
Gareth Murdock – bass
Cameron Ahslund-Glass – drums
How would you describe your sound?
We play melodic black metal infused with technical and atmospheric elements, for fans of Dark Funeral, Marduk and Der Weg Einer Freshet.
How did you land your spot on the Bloodstock bill?
We were offered the slot after reaching out some time last year. We had taken part of M2TM in the bands early years, but have since focused on playing across the UK and Europe.
What does playing at Bloodstock mean to you?
We’re feeling excited, humbled yet vindicated. We look forward to getting more eyes and ears on our intense blend of Irish Black Metal!
For people who’ve never seen you live, what can they expect at Bloodstock?
We’re unapologetically influenced by theatrical black metal bands of the early 2000’s. We deliver an intense, high energy set with ritualistic elements and plenty of crowd interaction!

What day are you performing?
We’re playing the New Blood Stage on Saturday!
What other bands are you looking forward to watching at Bloodstock this year?
Leprous, Sanguisugabogg and Cryptopsy are a few highlights for us. Not to mention our friends Blood Countess!
Playing the New Blood Stage is just the first steppingstone in a bands journey. What’s next in your plans for world domination?
We have a new album on the way, most of which we’ll be performing at Bloodstock! After this we plan to shoot some music videos and finally get it released!
Are you camping with the fans? Which campsite are you heading for?
Most of us are staying in a hotel, a few of us are hitting up the artist camping!
You’ve gotta keep hydrated at Bloodstock, what is your drink of choice for the weekend?
Hard to beat a good lager at a festival! We’d be partial to a local IPA or ale as well!
See you at Bloodstock in a few weeks!
