As Bloodstock gets closer, we delve deep into the line up to find out more about some of the bands playing the New Blood and EMP stages at this years event.

Please introduce yourselves.
We are Goat Major from Wales, UK.
Tom Shortt (bass and vocals), Jammie Arnold (guitar), Simon Bonwick (drums)
How would you describe your sound?
Doom/Stoner with elements of Punk and Grunge
How did you land your spot on the Bloodstock bill?
Networking and persistence.
What does playing at Bloodstock mean to you?
Goat Major is honoured and very excited to be performing at Bloodstock Open Air for the 25th anniversary edition. Many of our peers have performed on the Catton Park stages over the years, and we look forward to bringing our own style of atmospheric occult doom to this prestigious festival.
For us, the Bloodstock community represents the peak of the UK independent and underground scene, and we are eager to share our music with you all.
For people who’ve never seen you live, what can they expect at Bloodstock?
You can expect a proper head banging, fist pumping time with us! We will bring a tonne of crushing riffs, monstrous grooves and haunting melodies to the EMP stage.

What other bands are you looking forward to watching at Bloodstock this year?
There are so many cool bands to mention, the list is endless. With such an amazing line-up this year, we are honestly looking forward to watching whichever band is performing on the stage
Playing the EMP Stage is just the first steppingstone in a bands journey. What’s next in your plans for world domination?
We have some super cool announcements coming up, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!

We will be kicking it around the artist campsite.
