The Civic Hall in Wolverhampton was the destination, the atmosphere was electric as fans gathered for an unforgettable evening headlined by the theatrical metalcore band, Ice Nine Kills, a warm up show in the lead up to their support slot with the mighty Metallica.
The night kicked off with an energetic performance by The Hara, a band that immediately grabbed the audience's attention. Next up was Graphic Nature, who brought a heavier, more intense vibe to the stage. They opened with ‘Headstone’, a track that immediately immersed the audience in their raw, gritty sound. ‘Killing Floor’ and ‘Fractured’ continued to build the intensity, with powerful riffs and aggressive vocals. Their set concluded with ‘White Noise’, a track that left a lasting impression with its dark, brooding energy.
As the lights dimmed and the eerie intro music began, Ice Nine Kills took the stage to a roar of applause. They launched into ‘Hip to Be Scared’, immediately setting the theatrical tone with a performance that felt more like a horror movie come to life. Frontman Spencer Charnas commanded the stage with his charismatic presence, guiding the audience through a night of horror-themed anthems.
‘Rainy Day’ and ‘Meat & Greet’ continued the onslaught, blending catchy choruses with brutal breakdowns. ‘Rocking the Boat’ saw the crowd surfing and moshing with abandon, while ‘Ex-Mørtis’ and ‘SAVAGES’ kept the energy at peak levels.
As the main set drew to a close with ‘The American Nightmare’ and ‘IT Is the End’, the band left the stage briefly before returning for an encore. ‘Opening Night...’ and ‘Welcome to Horrorwood’ rounded off the night perfectly, leaving fans screaming for more.
