The Soap Girls Announce ‘Rebel With A Cause’ Tour

The Soap Girls Announce ‘Rebel With A Cause’ Tour.

2020 sparks the return of The SoapGirls, The SoapGirls who have already made a name for themselves in the Punk Rock world and gaining many fans worldwide are in for a treat.

We are happy to announce The SoapGirls from South Africa, will be kicking off the summer tour in the UK from 30th April - 30th June covering 20+ date schedule before heading before heading to Europe, Japan then returning to the UK again in September before returning back to Europe in October.

The fearless French born sisters Mille and Mie Debray have a mission:

With their band The SoapGirls they celebrate practiced values, liberalness and authenticity paired with a provocative honesty. A clash of raw garage sound from Punk, Rock’n’Roll and Grunge hits to catchy choruses and melodies.

As street artists at the age of childhood and adolescence they moved nine years through Cape Town, performing, singing and selling handmade soap to tourists in order to continue donating a part of the income to local hospitals – and so the inhabitants of Cape Town gave those well known lively nonchalant brats the name “The SoapGirls“.

“We have been The SoapGirls since we were eight and nine selling handmade soap and street performing for various causes, we did this 365 days of the year for 9 years”.

At  the age of twelve and thirteen they began their recording career as musicians – after topping the charts in their adopted country South Africa they were leaving major label Universal to continue without compromises to their songs and live performances.

Following the first independent album “Calls For Rebellion“ with songs like “Bad Bitch“ and “Johnny Rotten“, the second album titled “Society's Rejects“ will lead to the life motto of The SoapGirls. They toured extensively through Rock’n’Roll clubs, low pubs and bars in the USA, UK and Europe and worked their asses off on stage. An uncompromising attitude and excessive live shows brought them finally the reputation of absolute credibility and authenticity.

Reasonably they made it to one of the Top Acts at some of the biggest Punk and Alternative-Festivals like Rebellion or Camden Rocks in the UK.

The songs of the third and current album “Elephant in the Room“ get to live another additional intensity through the ravenous energy of the infernal trio.

In the end the outrageous good looking, permissive outfits and the behavior of The SoapGirls provokes and confuses enviers and haters the same way – therefore the fans love them! A group of engaged and eccentric fans known as “The SoapSuds“ follow the band meanwhile all over the places in Europe.

The SoapGirls are unstoppable – they are on a “One way street“ and kidnap you to their type of rebellion against the establishment.
