Slave Steel Announce Release of ‘Dream of Decadence’ E.P.
Slave Steel is a project that started in Rome in 2008 and over the years has evolved into the sonic squad that it is today. Rooted in Thrash, Death and Heavy Metal Influences, the music from this London 4-piece is characterised by a hammering rhythm section, groovy guitars, and acid vocals.
‘Dream of Decadence’ is Slave Steel’s latest offering, due to be released on Friday 25th June 2021.
The EP’s concept revolves around the loss of innocence: a nostalgic reflection of adulthood disillusion. Each track explores a different level of awareness in the process of experiencing and understanding the world.
Slave Steel talk about the EP:
“More than an effort, this last work of ours is the product of a necessity. It projects and sublimates our concern for a future we can’t picture anymore. It is part of something greater and deeper we’ve only started to unearth.”
‘Dream of Decadence’ was recorded & mixed by Alessio Garavello at Rogue Studios in Wembley, London and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Recording Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. The artwork for the EP was created by Pil Nazzari.
