When asked about his decision to record the single, he had this to say:

“I've always been a massive fan of The Prodigy, their intensity and power through the genius use of samples were always a thing that made my ears perk up. Every time the DJ played a song of theirs in a club I'd be immediately energized, seeing them live was a huge experience as well.

I'd wanted to do a cover of “Breathe” for the longest time, having learnt the main riff on guitar and playing it over and over for years. I attempted it a couple of times before but was never really happy with the result. That was until I got my 9-string guitar and played that tasty riff so low down. It made things rumble inside me I didn't know were there. I added my favourite types of industrial and orchestral elements to the arrangement and was absolutely in love with what I'd done with it. Finally, I've created the sound I've always wanted to make, and I cannot get enough of it!”

Sevenoaks has kept himself busy over the past few years. He currently leads the band I the Betrayer who were chosen as one of Metal Hammer's "hot new bands" off the strength of their first EP, ‘7’, in 2017, for which he wrote most of the music. The band went on to secure airplay on Kerrang! Radio in the UK and favourable reviews in national outlets, including Norway Rock Magazine. Since then, the band have released several singles, including “Guise Of The Infectious” and a cover of Avenged Sevenfold’s “Shepherds Of Fire”.

As a member of the Twitch community, Kyle produces music for other streamer and high-profile channels in a wide range of styles from full orchestral scores to high energy EDM tracks to hard hitting heavy metal and performs live both on stream and as invited live at the TwitchCon events. His musical style is a mix of downtuned guitars, a heavy pounding rhythm section with synth laden leads and pads, taking inspiration from genres as far apart as death metal and drum n bass. He is endorsed by Spector basses.
